I am offering academic/career advising, tutoring and coaching services for K-12, undergrad/graduate students, as well as working professionals. My goal is to provide outcome driven results through coaching and mentorship that is accessible and empathetic to the individual.

If you’re like many people with important milestones or academic challenges up ahead, you may be feeling anxious or unprepared for yourself or people you care about, including examples such as:

Students planning on applying to private schools and/or colleges in the coming years

Facing difficulty getting good grades and test scores

Recruiting for entry level jobs fresh out of school (resume building, interview prep, offer negotiations)

Having trouble staying motivated and focused through digital learning or homeschooling

Differentiating yourself amongst other job seekers and upleveling your skills to land your dream job

Looking to pivot into a new industry, company and/or function

Understanding your strengths and passions to find your calling

Regardless of which bucket you fall under, I’ve been there and done that. My goal and desire is to get people on track to achieve their academic/professional goals. Though I currently specialize in college applications and career pivots, I can also help students with SATs and other subjects as needed.

So why this line of work?

Through college and into my working career, I’ve had the blessing and opportunity to work with numerous students, ranging from elementary kids to executives looking to chase their dreams and passion. Through each interaction I’ve been able to connect and apply the right balance of discipline, content, and inspiration to help each individual achieve their goal, whether it's improving their SAT scores, getting into a dream university, or getting an offer from a well respected tech firm.

Over time I’ve developed a framework for problem solving and getting individuals mentally prepared for whatever goal that they want to achieve. This formula has been proven to be effective time and time again, and now is as good as time as any to share.

My teaching/mentoring style is very personalized and student-centric. I work with students and parents to understand the student's own style of learning, strengths, and weaknesses in order to develop an effective personalized study plan for them. I also believe that the most important characteristic that leads to success is not knowledge, but perseverance.

I emphasize in teaching not only class material ("what to learn"), but also "how to learn" strategies, resourceful tools that students may hopefully find beneficial for the remainder of their formal education and the rest of their lives.

Currently I am taking a break from full time work to work on several personal projects as well as tutor on the side. Having this time away from corporate life is something I’ve wanted for a while - though I want to stay busy doing things I care about!

At the moment, I offer in person (fremont) or digital sessions through Google Hangouts, Skype, Zoom, or by phone. My schedule is flexible throughout the day (Sun - Sat) though I’m typically free early mornings (7-9 or after 5pm).

Before we begin coaching, I offer a free 15 min consult to go over your goals and objectives, as well as discuss the right strategy for how to get you from A to B. If we mutually feel like we can work together and you wish to move forward, we can discuss rates and create a plan and schedule out the sessions.
